Changing SIP trunk customer Pilot Number
On the Broadsoft Platform, go to the Group Level for the customer
On the left, click the Services tab
On the right, click “Trunk Group”
Select the correct trunk group by clicking on it
To get the pilot TN / authentication TN, click “Profile”
NOTES:
- You’ll see there is no password here. We enter it once and it disappears.
- WE do not set the password – you MUST get this password FROM THE CUSTOMER. They set this password manually in THEIR equipment.
- AFTER you save, the password will be blank again.
1. Enter the new Pilot TN under Authentication User Name (yellow block)
2. Enter the password, and then enter it again (the two green blocks)
3. Scroll all the way down, and click “Search” to get the list of available numbers
4. Click the check box next to the new pilot TN
5. Click Apply to save the change
6. NOW you can go back and follow the process to delete that old pilot number from the system.
